Liam McEneaney has been touring professionally as a stand-up comedian since the age of 19, when he was hired out of college for a national comedy/game show tour. He has headlined comedy clubs and college venues across the United States, as well as performed throughout Europe. His television credits include appearances on Showtime, IFC, Comedy Central, CNN HLN, and two seasons as a panelist on VH1’s Best Week Ever. He has also been a featured guest on top podcasts and radio shows, including multiple episodes of WTF with Marc Maron and The Howard Stern Wrap-Up Show.
Liam McEneaney produced and starred in the acclaimed concert film Tell Your Friends!, which held its world premiere at the SXSW Film Festival. In 2014, he released the album Liam McEneaney: Comedian on ASpecialThing Records. It debuted at #1 on the Amazon and iTunes comedy charts, where it continues to chart. His follow-up album, Working Class Fancy (Comedy Dynamics, 2016), also remains a consistent bestseller on digital platforms.
In 2016, GQ Spain named Liam McEneaney one of the 100 Best Comedians of All Time. His screenwriting work has earned recognition as well: he was named a quarterfinalist for the Academy Nicholl Fellowship in both 2019 and 2024.

Liam McEneaney produced and starred in the concert film Tell Your Friends!, featuring Reggie Watts, Kurt Braunohler, Kristen Schaal, and Christian Finnegan, with interviews from Jim Gaffigan, Hannibal Buress, and Janeane Garofalo. The film premiered at the SXSW Film Festival, followed by screenings at the Paley Center, San Diego Comic-Con, Friars Club Film Festival, and Just for Laughs in both Chicago and Montreal. Released as a DVD/CD soundtrack by ASpecialThing Records, the film continues to sell steadily.
