Saturday, May 8th, at 8pm est.
at the Kraine Theatre
85 East 4th Street,
Manhattan
TICKET LINK: https://www.frigid.nyc/events/secondshot
Only 22 seats are available. Liam is donating his share of the ticket price to FrigidNYC who run the Kraine and Under St. Marks Theatres. Every penny goes to support small theatre, which has been hit really hard by the past full year of the live entertainment shutdown.
For those wanting to livestream the show, those tickets are $10 each. While Liam McEneaney shows are always pants optional, watching him in the privacy of your home makes it even more so.
For those wanting to come to the Kraine Theatre in person, the tickets are $20, and are either available individually, or in “pods” of two, three, and four.
The Kraine is committed to following CDC guidelines, so you will also need to bring proof that you’ve been vaccinated 14 days prior to showtime. Liam will be performing forty minutes of material that he’s written over the past four years in Los Angeles, so if you’ve come to see him in NYC before, odds are good it will all be new to you.
His opening act will be Rebecca Hart, a great singer/songwriter.
Rebecca Hart once accidentally won a comedy contest in Dublin, Ireland, while appearing as the musical guest. True story. Born into a theatre family, she made her acting debut at the age of nine months and has been playing music (with and without her 6-piece band) for only a slightly shorter time. Her latest recording, ‘The Magician’s Daughter’, was produced by Ben Sollee in Louisville KY and Ben Arons in NYC. Recent acting credits include the Public Theatre’s Rust Belt tour of ‘SWEAT’ and a CT Critics Circle Award for ‘The Revolutionists’ in West Hartford. Recently, her career grew another head (arm?) after she got her MFA in Book and Lyric writing at NYU’s The Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program. Her musical’ ‘IRON JOHN: an american ghost story’, (w/collaborator Jacinth Greywoode) was developed at NYU, the O’Neill Center, and Theatreworks Silicon Valley before showcasing at the National Alliance for Musical Theatre Festival at New World Stages in 2019. 2020 will (somehow) bring three virtual university productions, as well as a workshop of her short-form opera commission “the barren(s)” (w/composer Amber Vistein) at the Kennedy Center (American Opera Initiative). Currently, she performs a weekly quarantine-time cabaret, “The Chrysalis” every Sunday at 4PM on Facebook Live.
